1. What is GoLocal?

    A: GoLocal is a tour guide company allowing you to personalize your tour experience. Giving you the best chance of seeing and enjoying the city you are visiting.

  2. How does GoLocal Work?

    A: GoLocal allows you to personalize your tour allowing you to see more of what you want to see.

  3. How does the booking process work?

    A: Once you have completed your online booking form, you will be contacted by a GoLocal call agent to confirm your booking times and date. If everything is in order you will be allowed to make the payment.

  4. How does payment work.

    A: Once your booking is confirmed you will be able to make payment through an electronic transfer or cash payment on the day.

  5. What happens on the day on the tour?

    A: The selected tour guide will arrive at your destination at the requested time and your tour will begin.

  6. Why is GoLocal different form other tours

    A: GoLocal offers personalized tours. This means you can decide where you are going how long you spend at each stop what sights you want to see. This is all done with an experienced and knowledgeable guide.

  7. I want a private tour. What do I need to do?

    A: You will have to submit a booking form from the GoLocal website and GoLocal will arrange the tour for you.

  8. Can I phone the guide?

    A: Yes, you will be provided with the guides cell number however all queries should be sent info@golocaltours.co.za

  9. Am I able to share the cost of the tour with other travelers?

    A: This can be done with in advance with GoLocal. Please notify GoLocal as soon as possible

  10. After I have booked a tour, can I invite others to join me?

    A: Yes, you can however normal tours are limited to 4 people. If you need more people to join you will have to book a XL Tour this can accommodate up to 9 people.

  11. How much does the XL tour cost?

    A: The XL tour is double the price of a normal private tour.

  12. Who do I contact regarding the tour itinerary, pricing and/or guide availability?

    A: you should contact GoLocal either through the website or the email address.

  13. What should I do if my guide is not at the meeting location?

    A: You should Contact GoLocal immediately on info@golocaltours.co.za

  14. Do I need to tip my guide?

    A: This is at your own discretion.

  15. How do clients cancel a trip?

    A: All cancelations must be done more than 24hrs before the tour date. If cancelation is done with in 24hours the full fee will be charged.

  16. What is the refund policy?

    A: If the cancellation more than 24 hours before the tour date, a 50% fee will be refunded.

  17. Can I book in advance?

    A: Yes, we encourage early bookings. You may book 12 months in advance.
